NAMUR (User Association of Automation Technology in Process Industries) is a leading international network of user companies that actively promotes the development and standardisation of automation solutions. Within various working groups, practical requirements are gathered, concepts are developed, and experiences are exchanged. The aim: to systematically translate innovations into practical applications and to represent the interests of the industry in standardisation processes.

MEGLA is actively involved in working group 2.4 “Manufacturing Operations Management”, which focuses on the optimisation of planning processes, MES infrastructures, and internal logistics. Key topics include the economic potential of MES solutions, technical concepts for production optimisation, and contributing to the development of national and international standards.
